Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı and Yemeni Friendship Association

“Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı is considered a pioneer school, and role model in humanitarian and charitable work.”

Those were Dr. Ahmed Al-Uqbi’s words, President of the Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association in Istanbul, during his visit to El-Menahil International School and his meeting with Mr. Faisal, the representative of the Tzu Chi Foundation in Turkey.

During the meeting, they discussed the partnership between the two parties and ways to enhance it in the future. Mr. Faisal also presented the plans of Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı is seeking for the next stage in addition to the services Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı has been providing to refugees for the past 7 years.

It is worth mentioning that the Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı has been supporting 40 Yemeni students for 3 years by providing them with a financial grant to help them secure part of the university life expenses.
