EWG Meeting 

Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı participated in the meeting of the Education Wrokıng Group organizations (EWG), organized by the UNHCR.

The educational situation of refugees and the obstacles facing students are among the most important points that were discussed during the meeting that brought Tzu Chi İyilik Vakfı together with civil society organizations.

Tzu Chi’s representatives spoke about the difficult reality and the obstacles that Syrian students face to enroll in public schools, including the economical and legal factors related to the temporary protection card, not to mention the language barrier.

This meeting was a good occasion to introduce the services Tzu Chi provides in terms of relief, health, and educational support for Syrian refugees.

A large part of the discussion focused on El-Menahil International School and the questionnaire that was conducted on a large segment of families.

Discussing the situation of Ukrainian refugees was present during the meeting, where the conditions of families and the possibility of providing them with the basic needs support were assessed

In this context, El-Manahil International School also participated in the meeting organized by Alpha Publishing under the auspices of Hi Academy to introduce their platform in addition to the modern mechanisms for teaching international curricula.
